Worlds made to get lost in..

Enter A World

Take a breather. Step into a world, put the music on if you feel like it, and let yourself drift for a while. There is nothing to finish, nothing to win and nowhere else you need to be.

Look around on your screen or put on a compatible VR headset and let the world surround you. Every visit shifts a little because each scene is drawn live on your device. When you are ready, find somewhere to begin in the worlds.

Your controls in VR

The panel floats with you. Switch worlds, try the action, change the current world's lens, turn the music on, or make the motion and brightness feel right.

A labelled VR control panel showing the world picker, world action, lens, music, comfort settings and Exit VR button.
The action and lens controls appear when the world has something extra to try.

A few things you might wonder

So, what is Sparksbud?

A quiet corner of the internet filled with interactive worlds you can look around, listen to and linger in. Some feel dreamy, some playful and some a little strange. That is the whole point.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Open a world in a current browser and you are in. There is no app, account or sign-up. You can have a look through the worlds before choosing where to go.

Will it work on my phone or computer?

Yep. Drag to look around on a computer, phone or tablet; the arrow keys work on a computer too. Press F for fullscreen, Space to pause, M for music and H to tuck the controls away. Tap once to bring them back.

Can I put on a VR headset?

Yes. On Meta Quest, open Sparksbud in Meta Quest Browser and choose Enter VR when it appears. You need a compatible WebXR browser and headset for VR, but every world still works in a regular browser.

Is it really free?

Yes. No account, adverts or paywall. We use Google Analytics to see broad patterns such as which pages people visit, and your browser can remember your viewing preferences on your own device. If you send a note, we receive what you type. The privacy policy has the plain details.

What about the music?

It waits for you. Press M or use the music control when you want it, and use Next when a world has more than one track. Silence is always an option.

What if I want things calmer?

Pause whenever you like, then lower the motion speed or brightness in settings. Some worlds use bright or shifting light, so take a break if your eyes or body ask for one. The comfort and VR notes are there if you need them.
