Privacy policy

Last updated September 22, 2026

The short version: Sparksbud has no accounts or adverts. It uses Google Analytics to measure aggregate visits and improve the site. Browsing does not require your name or email. If you write to us, we receive the details you choose to send.

This policy covers sparksbud.com (the "site"), run by Sparksbud ("we", "us").

Browsing without an account

When you send us a note

The optional contact form on the About and Worlds pages asks for your name, email address and message. We send that note to Dellon's email inbox so he can read and reply. The mail service that delivers it processes those details, and the message stays in the inbox until deleted. Do not put passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in your message. If you want us to delete a message you sent, write to [email protected].

What is stored on your own device

So that the site remembers how you like it, your browser keeps a small settings record on your device, in its local storage. It holds your motion speed, brightness, volume, whether you prefer the regular or 360 view, the look you chose for each world, and your place in each world's playlist. This record never leaves your device and is never sent to us. You can erase it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.

What our server sees

Like almost every website, the server that delivers the site keeps a standard access log. For each request it records the IP address, the date and time, the file requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the browser's description of itself. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working. They are deleted automatically after 14 days, and we do not combine them with anything else to identify you.

Music delivery

When you turn the music on, the recordings are streamed from a content delivery network run by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver a file, Cloudflare necessarily receives your IP address and basic request details, and handles them under its own privacy policy. Nothing about what you do on the site is sent along with those requests.

Virtual reality

When you enter VR, your browser uses your headset's head and controller positions to draw the world around you. That happens entirely on your device. We never receive it.

Children

The site is for a general audience and does not ask visitors to make an account. The optional contact form accepts the details a sender chooses to provide; please do not send information about children through it. Headset makers set their own minimum ages for virtual reality, and parents should follow them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA may give you rights to see, correct or delete personal information held about you. We have the short-lived server logs and any messages you choose to send. If you have a question or a request, write to [email protected] and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If the site ever starts to handle information differently, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
